MELT is a thermogenic fat burner and appetite suppressant from well-known sport nutrition company LMNITRIX. This dietary supplement has been designed for both men and women and promises to deliver fast weight loss and real results that you can see.

According to the official MELT product page, when this review was written, this dietary supplement contained “superior ingredients” that aid in fat loss, as well as provides increased energy that lasts all day long without causing jitters. It is recommended to those who are seeking weight loss to use MELT to increase their energy, boost their metabolism or control their appetite.

When this review was created, the MELT formula was made up of several ingredients. Each blue and white capsule (equal to 1 serving size) was composed of: Caffeine Anhydrous (250mg), Choline BiTartrate (167mg) and a Proprietary Blend (300mg): L-Carnitine, L-Tartrate, Beta Phenylethylamine HCl, Capsimax, Dendrobium Extract, Dendrobium nobile Lindl, Hordenine HCl, Yohimbine HCl, Higenamine HCl, Synephrine HCl, and Huperzine A.

The recommended use is to take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the middle of the afternoon. Users are cautioned not to exceed 2 capsules in a day and are instructed to drink plenty of water throughout the day to prevent dehydration. Furthermore, MELT is meant to be taken for up to 8 weeks at a time. If after the first 8 weeks is over you would like to take another round of the supplement, you should take a minimum 4 week break before taking it again.

Although MELT does contain many ingredients that have been praised for their potential benefits in the over-the-counter (OTC) weight loss industry, more than one of these ingredients is a stimulant. Caffeine, phenylethylanmine, syneprhine and hordenine are all stimulant ingredients. While they can be helpful energy boosters, help to enhance mental focus, aid in thermogenesis, fat burning and boosting metabolism, they can also increase the risk of several unpleasant side effects.

Some of these adverse effects may include: insomnia, restlessness, jitters, high blood pressure, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, etc. Moreover, this product has combined caffeine and synephrine (which enhances the effects of caffeine). The FDA has warned that combining these two ingredients may cause serious adverse cardiovascular effects (e.g. high blood pressure, fainting, heart attack and stroke) in some people, including healthy adults.

Due to the number of stimulants in MELT, it is strongly recommended that you first speak with your doctor before taking this product to make sure it is safe for you.
