PhenELITE is an over the counter diet pill designed to assist people who are working to lose weight. The idea is that it will improve the results to levels beyond what the dieter would be able to achieve unassisted through eating and activity level changes. According to what’s written on the product package, using this product will allow users to achieve “extreme weight loss and appetite suppression.”
Equally, the official description for this product also suggests that these results will be achieved through the use of only natural ingredients. Together, each of these substances come together to produce a “strong potent formula,” says the label.
At the time of the writing of this review, no official website for this product could be located through Google search. Therefore, the majority of information used for this review was gleaned from other sites selling the product, such as Amazon.com. There, the claim is made that the product will increase the metabolic rate, speed up fat burning and boost the efficiency of fat cells breaking away.
That last benefit is a rather confusing one as this is not actually the way the body burns fat. Fat loss does not occur by having fat cells break away and then be used up somehow. Instead, at some point between late adolescence and early adulthood, the body has a set number of fat cells. The fat cells grow larger as you gain weight and smaller as you lose it. As fat is added to the body, the cells grow larger, filling up with more fat. When fat stores are burned away, the cells shrink because they contain less.
For that reason, it is clear that the way the product description says that PhenELITE works doesn’t align with the way the body actually functions. This is, therefore, quite a misleading statement and it isn’t clear exactly what the product might really do.
At the time this review was written, the package for PhenELITE contained a list of the formula ingredients which included: raspberry ketone, green coffee bean, caffeine anhydrous, green tea extract and garcinia cambogia.
These ingredients have a varying degree of scientific research to support their use. Unfortunately, this appears to be a combination of studied substances as well as those that were likely included because of the media hype they’ve experienced and not necessarily because they would be beneficial for fat loss. Primary among that latter case includes raspberry ketone; the very first ingredient.
