Skinny Butt

Published On March 2, 2020

Skinny Butt is a dietary supplement from Rockstar Sports Nutrition. It is a weight loss support aid that is targeted toward women who want to shrink their waistline and obtain a firm sculpted butt.

Why is Skinny Butt Targeted to Women?

That’s a very good question, and one that Rockstar Sports Nutrition does not answer. Beyond its bottle featuring a silhouette of a woman and a stereotypical pinky-purple color scheme, there is no information that explains why women specifically can benefit from this product over men or why men should use something else. Therefore, it seems that marketing is the only reason why Skinny Butt is targeted towards women.

Although this is nothing new in the OTC weight loss pill industry, it does give the impression that the manufacturer cares more about selling a product than it does on actually creating a safe and high-quality formula that could benefit those who take it.

Skinny Butt Supplement Facts

The Skinny Butt ingredients include a Proprietary Blend composed of:

  • Caffeine
  • Garcinia Cambogia
  • Raspberry Ketones
  • African Mango
  • Green Coffee Bean
  • Conjugated Linolenic Acid
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Rhodiola
  • Guarana
  • White Kidney Bean
  • Turmeric
  • 5-HTP
  • L-Arginine HCl
  • Papaya

It also contains:

  • Hoodia
  • Apple Cider Vinegar

Within its proprietary blend, Skinny Butt contains multiple stimulant ingredients or ingredients that contain stimulants (e.g. caffeine, green coffee bean, guarana) as well as an ingredient believed to help block the absorption of carbohydrates (white kidney bean), thermogenic ingredients (e.g. caffeine, green coffee bean, guarana, cayenne pepper), and ingredients commonly believed to suppress appetite (garcinia cambogia, African mango).

Outside of the blend, the two main active ingredients are hoodia, another highly touted appetite suppressant, and apple cider vinegar, which is thought to help reduce belly fat and further suppress fat build-up in the body. That said, neither has been clinically proven to aid weight loss, and there is also a lack of evidence regarding the safety of hoodia.

The Bottom Line

Skinny Butt is not an innovative OTC diet pill for women. The vast number of ingredients within the formula indicates that there is likely very little chance that those who take this pill will benefit from any potential advantage these ingredients might offer. The reason is that the amounts of each ingredient within each serving, particularly the proprietary blend, would be minimal.

Furthermore, as there is caffeine and other stimulants within this supplement, it may cause adverse effects in some people, including sleeplessness and jitters, especially in those who are sensitive to stimulants or who may ingest other stimulant products while taking this dietary supplement.

The bottom line is that there are better fat burner diet pills available with fewer ingredients from more reputable brands. That said, if you would still like to try Skinny Butt, it is recommended that you first consult with your healthcare provider.
